Paris today to celebrate the opening of his first store in France. The 7,000 sq ft, two-storey Michael Kors store, on rue Saint-Honoré, a short stroll away from Colette, is the largest in his 175-shop chain around the world. The store features the designer’s full collections, including the diffusion range, Michael by Michael Kors; his main line, always shown at New York Fashion Week; and all his accessories, jewellery and fragrances.”
What is the retail design parti?
Hilary says: “The store is decorated in gleaming white, glass and chrome, with zebra-skin rugs on the floors, and black and white blow-up photographs of celebrities such as Andy Warhol and Robert Redford on the walls.”
